Angela Merkel BLASTS Trump for 'absolutely inappropriate' North Korea military threats

The German chancellor struck after Mr. Trump threatened to "totally destroy" North Korea as fears of nuclear conflict increased.
Merkel said: "I am against such threats, and to speak about myself and the government, I must say that we consider any kind of military solution to be absolutely inappropriate and we count on diplomatic efforts.
"This must be vigorously implemented. In my view, sanctions and enforcement are the right answer."
The United Nations agreed to impose new import limits on North Korea after the Kim Jong-un regime launched two missiles on Hokkaido before crashing into the Sea of ​​Japan.
Merkel told Trump that the sanctions were the only solution to curb the North Korean threat.
She told German radio broadcaster Deutsche Welle: "As far as North Korea is concerned, I think it is not true, which is why we clearly disagree with the American president."

Mr. Trump, whose speech was applauded in New York, said the United States would not be distanced from military actions if they were forced to react to the North Korean attacks.
The US president also warned that other US rivals would "go to hell" for their actions before arousing a rally cry for unity.
Trump said: "We must work together against those who threaten chaos and terror.
"No one showed more contempt for other nations and the welfare of their people than the depraved regime of North Korea.
"They respect neither their own citizens nor the sovereign rights of countries
"If righteous men do not face evil people, then evil will triumph.
The United States is currently involved in bombing alongside South Korea.
Drilling is the first flight since North Korea conducted its sixth and most powerful nuclear test on 3 September - as well as the staging of another missile test on Japan, sending regional tensions to the sky.
South Korean Defense Minister Song Young-moo said the exercises would run "two to three days a month these days" due to growing tension with the DPRK.
